Everything You Need to Know
Questions couples ask
How much does a wedding photographer cost in South Florida?
Across South Florida, wedding photography typically ranges from about $2,000 to $8,000+ depending on coverage hours, second shooter, and album. At Casa Cora Studio, base collections start at $2,000 for photography, $2,000 for film, and $3,500 for photography and film together. Every collection includes online delivery of your gallery.
Do you offer wedding photography and videography together?
Yes, it is our most popular collection, starting at $3,500. One cohesive team covers both photo and film, which keeps your day flowing and is more economical than hiring two separate vendors.
What areas of South Florida do you serve?
We are based in Miami and photograph weddings across all of South Florida, including Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Key West. We also travel for destination weddings throughout Florida and beyond.
How do we book you, and what deposit is required?
A signed agreement and a retainer reserve your date; the remaining balance is typically due before the wedding. We accept a limited number of weddings each season, so we recommend reaching out 10 to 14 months ahead for peak dates.
When will we receive our photos and film?
You will receive a sneak peek within about 48 hours. Full edited galleries are delivered online, and cinematic films follow within the timeline noted in your agreement. Exact turnaround is confirmed when you book.
Is a second photographer included?
A second shooter is available as an add on to any collection. For larger weddings or multi location days, we usually recommend one so we can capture both partners getting ready and more angles throughout the day.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely. We are based in South Florida and travel throughout Florida, the U.S., and internationally. Travel is quoted transparently with no markup.
What is your photography and film style?
Editorial but never stiff, a documentary heart with an editorial eye. We direct just enough to make you look incredible, then step back so real moments can happen. Our films are cinematic and scored, made to be rewatched for decades.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions are a popular add on and a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding. We can shoot them at a meaningful location or one of South Florida’s iconic spots.
How do you handle Florida weather and harsh midday light?
We plan timelines around golden hour, scout shade and reflective surfaces, and bring lighting for receptions and rain plans. Bright South Florida light is something we use to our advantage, not fight.
Where should we start if we are comparing wedding photographers?
Start with style, full galleries, reviews or referrals, communication, backup plans, and whether the team understands your venue and city. Price matters, but consistency matters more.
Is photo and film from one team better for every wedding?
Not always, but it is often easier. One team can coordinate angles, audio, portrait timing, and delivery style. It is especially helpful for tight timelines and events guided by a planner.
Can you help with a South Florida wedding timeline?
Yes. We help build the photo and film timeline around ceremony time, sunset, family photos, travel, weather, and the moments that matter most to you.
Do we need an engagement session?
You do not need one, but it helps. Engagement sessions make camera time feel familiar and give you images for invitations, a wedding website, guest book, or framed prints.
Do you deliver raw files?
We deliver finished edited work rather than raw files. Raw files do not represent the final color, polish, curation, or storytelling that couples hire us to create.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
We plan rain options with your planner or venue before the day. Covered walkways, indoor portraits, umbrellas, window light, and reception lighting can all create beautiful results.
Can we give you a shot list?
Yes. We ask for family groupings and any meaningful details, traditions, or people we should know about. We do not need a list of standard moments because those are already covered.
How many hours of coverage do most couples need?
Most full weddings need enough time for getting ready, portraits, ceremony, family photos, reception details, speeches, and dancing. The right number depends on locations, guest count, and whether you want full reception coverage.
Can you work with our planner or venue rules?
Yes. We coordinate with planners, venues, churches, hotels, clubs, and private estates so timing, access, insurance, portrait routes, and ceremony rules are clear before the day.
What should we do if we feel awkward in photos?
You do not need to know how to pose. We guide movement, posture, hands, spacing, and where to look, then create room for real reactions so portraits feel like you.
